Sue Clothier is recognised as one of Australia’s leading production executives, having produced or overseen the production of more than 600 hours of original broadcast programming.
Sue founded Northern Pictures, a specialist factual production company based in Australia, in 2010, In 2014, the RACAT Group acquired Northern Pictures, retaining Sue as Managing Director with added management oversight of blue-chip natural history producer, NHNZ based in New Zealand. In 2016, Sue returned to building Northern Pictures as a creator of premium content. During this time, establishing the highly successful KIDS division, producing scripted and unscripted content for global audiences.
In 2018, Sue made the decision to leave Northern Pictures relocate to Tasmania and establish Utopia Media, a joint venture with Transmission Films.
