Do you have an idea for a film, a script that you are hoping to produce – or a desire to connect with other filmmakers?  Are you hoping to apply for production support from WAT for your film in 2018?

Make it happen by joining the WAT Directors Meet-up. Every Tuesday evening the group will meet to watch a locally produced film, meet the director and work on their own film project.

7.30 – 8.15pm:  Tasmanian director Shaun Wilson will present short works Henry Finn and The Calling Hours and discuss his top tips for project selection, collaboration, producing and distributing their works. 

8.15 – 9pm:  Spend a sustained block of time progressing your project

9 – 9.30pm:  Informal discussion about your project with other filmmakers (cake included!)

Online participation is available via skype for limited numbers.  Our guest mentors in April include Shaun Wilson, Rebecca Thomson, Adam Ransley and Letitia Lamb.

Cost: Available only to current WAT members - $25 for the 4 April sessions or $10 for casual attendance.
