Wide Angle is thrilled to continue offering free films to the over 50’s in 2019. With the support of the City of Hobart, every month audiences are presented with a curated program of iconic and important Australian films. It’s a great opportunity for audiences to access Australian film, meet other film lovers and hear from the actors, directors and producers at a post film Q&A. The films are screened monthly in the comfortable theatre at the Wide Angle Screen Centre in South Hobart, with plenty of opportunity for refreshments. The bar opens from 1.30pm and screenings start promptly at 2pm.
