Sharon Clark - Chair
Sharon’s professional involvement in the arts, cultural and community sector began in 1980 with her appointment as Project Officer with the NT Department of Community Development. Sharon spent five years as the State Manager, Victoria and Tasmania in the Office for the Arts then moved to Tasmania for family reasons after negotiating to have a position in Indigenous broadcasting & media based in Hobart.
Sharon has maintained an interest in film-making since undertaking the AFTRS Documentary Producers course in 1997 where she met with Tony Smith (who had produced Stephanie Alexander’s cooking show) with a view to filming an Indigenous documentary using food as means of understanding cultures, places and people. Sharon has returned to Hobart after 18 months in Broome.
