Screen Tasmania’s silverScreen program has been revamped and now provides even more opportunities for Tasmanian key creatives. silverScreen has also been expanded to three places to provide opportunities for an emerging Tasmanian director, writer and producer.

Under the new structure of the silverScreen program, each participant is provided with the  following:-
·        the opportunity to attend an interstate professional development course or master-class
·        a 12 month subscription to Screen Hub
·        an emerging director will receive a 12 month membership of the Australian Directors Guild (ADG), attend the ADG national conference and receive mentored support at the conference
·        an emerging writer will receive a 12 month membership of the Australian Writers Guild (AWG), attend the AWG National Screenwriters Conference (NSC) and will receive tailored support from the AWG
·        an emerging producer will receive a 12 month membership of the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA), attend the SPAA Conference and the opportunity to participate in the SPAA Emerging Producers Scheme at the Conference

CLOSING DEADLINE EXTENDED:  Applications to silverScreen now close at 5:00 pm Monday, 3 September 2012. The silverScreen guidelines, eligibility criteria and application form can be found on the Screen Tasmania website.
