Lara Giddings

Lara Giddings is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Medical Association in Tasmania. She retired from the Tasmania Parliament in 2018 after 18 years of service. During that time, she became the state’s first female Premier and held various portfolios as a Minister including, Treasury, Health, Economic Development and the Arts. She has always been interested in film and enjoyed growing and promoting the local screen industry while Minister, through Screen Tasmania. She recently joined the Board of Wide Angle.
