December 2010 – Present Freelance video editor / animator / live sound engineer. Booking and sound mixing around Tasmania and interstate.
March 2010 – September 2010 Project manager, telecommunications IT, Westpac, Sydney. Rolling out Voice over IP to every Westpac branch in Australia. Co-ordinating Telstra and Westpac requirements for each branch, making sure 10 branches a day were delivered all IT equipment and staff were trained to the required level.
October 2009 – March 2010. Motion graphics designer for Digitalhive in Richmond, Victoria. Hired into Melbourne to work on a large project for this company.
Since 2002 I have been working with young musicians around Hobart; organising gigs and working as a live sound engineer in various venues around Tasmania and Melbourne.
February 1993 - present.  Proprietor; Imagine It - Computer graphics, video production, animation and multimedia. Imagine It became Tasmania’s first full broadcast animation facility in 1993 and has since expanded to full non-linear editing in addition to 3D graphic production.
Contracted to Blue Rocket Productions from 2002 to 2009 working variously as Technical Director/Editor/Compositor/Special Effects Animator depending on the project. Blue Rocket produces several animated cartoon series including Hoota and Snoz, Dog and Cat News, Mormel TV and Time Cracks which air around the world. Hoota and Snoz is distributed in over 90 countries around the world.
In 2009 we completed a 26 x half hour series (Pixel Pinkie) aired on the 9 network with overseas sales pending.
This role involved not only editing and compositing the cartoon series but also managing the IT systems that grew over the years from a small network of 20 computers to a large IBM SAN that was controlling a network of workstations.

Under the Imagine It banner I produced all Southern Cross Television’s station ID’s from 1995-2002. These variously involved a combination of animation or live footage and animation, with composited effects applied.
Multimedia projects include 2 interactive CDs for J Boag & Son for national release of their James Boag’s Premium Lager.
Gold Award for animation, 1996 Awards for Excellence, Tasmanian Advertising Club.
Freelance Editor and Director. Commercial production at Winning Post Productions and Southern Cross Network Hobart. Producer, Director, Editor, Cameraman and Scriptwriter for Targa Tasmania 1994 documentary aired around Australia, Japan, and Europe plus world-wide video sales.
Contracted to radio HO-FM as call-in Network Administrator when their Chief Engineer is unavailable.
April 1990 - February 1993  Southern Cross Network Hobart
Director/Editor/Cameraman. Mainly editing commercial agency work. Projects included award-winning Wrest Point Hotel Casino commercials, HO-FM launch commercial and Marti Zucco Restaurant commercial.  The roles of Editor, Director, Cameraman and Paintbox Artist were all called upon in the Targa Tasmania documentary aired on the TEN Network around Australia.  Produced, Directed and Edited two clips for local band Reckless Hearts, the second of which was funded by Tourism Tasmania and saw the band picked up by John Farnham's management after airing of the clip in Victoria.

February 1989 - February 1990 Videopak Sydney

Director/Editor/Vision Switcher.  Main role as Commercial Editor but also worked on outside broadcasts as Director or Vision Switcher.  Key clients of Videopak's agencies included Myer, CBS Records and Videos, MTV, Sussans.

October 1987 - February 1989 Freelance

Director/Editor. Worked with most of the mainstream Sydney production houses including; AAV, Pro-Image, Omnicon, EVS, Meredith Productions, Videopak, Kookaburra.  Freelance Vision Switcher and Editor for all the commercial networks plus SBS.  Replacement News Director at TCN9 while regular staff overseas for Winter Olympics.

April 1987 - October 1987 Broadcom Sydney
Director/Editor. VFL had been taken from 7 Network by Steve Cosser's Broadcom. Key personnel were poached from 7 Melbourne. Directed VFL telecasts plus several commercial shoots for Broadcom's commercial clients.

May 1985 - April 1987 HSV7 Melbourne
Director/Vision Switcher. News, Sport and Current Affairs. Main role directing VFL football and other sporting events. Worked for three months as commercial Producer/Director for Seven's Flinder's Productions.

February 1985 - May 1985 ATV10 Melbourne
Videotape Operator until offer from HSV7

Started as field cameraman and worked through studio,  lighting, audio, videotape and directing.
