Exclusive in conversation with Oliver Cassidy about his inspiring feature documentary Franklin!
Listed by the Guardian as one of the top ten films to watch at MIFF 2022, eighth-generation Tasmanian Oliver Cassidy will discuss his documentary Franklin. Oliver will examine the increasingly important intersection between creative filmmaking, and building an impact for social and environmental change. This inspirational evening will bring together people from both sides of the equation and discuss how we can use film for advocacy, while telling an emotionally intimate story of beauty, longing and history. Franklin is narrated by Hugo Weaving and features Bob Brown and Uncle Jim Everett, amongst many others.
