Flickerfest 2017 - March 31st

The Best of Australian Shorts programme on Friday 31st March at 8pm includes another wonderful Tassie doco, curated from the Sydney Greenflicks competition, ‘Source: Our Co-operative’. Directed by Carly Rusden and produced by Mark Thomson, this documentary gives insight into Source, the community wholefoods shop & café at the University of Tasmania, Hobart campus.  Also screening are winner of the Flickerfest 2017 Yoram Gross Award for Best Australian Animation, ‘Fish With Legs’, voiced by Frank Woodley and Barry Otto, and ‘MESSiAH’, a playful collision of cultures in the Australian wilderness, starring David Gulpilil and written and directed by Underbelly star Damian Walshe-Howling.
