Do you want to reach, engage and service the not-for-profit sector? Are you already working in this space?
WAT is offering the opportunity for 6 filmmakers to pitch their skills at an in-house speed networking session on July 2nd.
In this round robin event, filmmakers will pitch their 10-minute digital presentation to Tasmanian NFP organisations undertaking the ‘Films Work’ program.
WAT recognises this as a wonderful opportunity for filmmakers to widen their networks, showcase their work and create potential employment working within the NFP sector.
This one-hour event will be held on Friday 2nd July during the final afternoon of the ‘Films Work’ 2-day workshop for NFPs.
To be eligible you must be a current WAT member and submit an EOI that provides a link to some existing films evidencing your previous client work, and a brief description of your experience working to a client’s brief.
EOI’s must be received by email to [email protected] by 4pm Wednesday 23 June. Filmmakers will be notified by close of business Friday 25 June.
WAT is seeking expressions of interest from around the State and travel subsidies will be made available to members outside the Southern Tas region.
Due to time restrictions anyone not involved in the speed networking session are welcome to meet and indirectly pitch to the ‘Films Work’ participants at our monthly ‘Friday Freelancers’ event following the workshop.
