It supports all the major HD formats like 1080i, 720p, and 480p. With its Composite and S-Video inputs it also supports standard definition 4x3 and 16x9.  The kit includes built-in support for "L" series batteries. This means that you can use your extra Sony camcorder batteries to power this monitor in the field. A Sony battery and extra charger is also included in the deluxe kit, providing up to 2hrs battery life. High Definition & Standard Definition.
