Kath Symmons - Board Member

One of the founders of Roar Film, Kath began her career in advertising. In the early 90’s she set up her own consultancy as a film and television producer. In 1996 she was awarded the Australian Film Commission Producer Fellowship. She then expanded the business into documentary and digital media production.

In addition to Kath’s role as Producer she also has the responsibility of Roar’s Head of Finance and Production. Some of Kath’s documentary and digital/multimedia production credits include : Documentary : The Fishermen, Song For Fanny, End of the Game. Documentary Series : Shacks – No. 1 Doctor’s Rocks & Titania’s Palace, Real Life Water Rats, Alive & Kicking, The Mission. Digital/Multimedia : Screen Australia’s DIY Doco, Dust On My Shoes, Film Australia’s Award Winning interactive website Wireless to Web, Film Australia’s Wilderness DVD and Roar’s award winning interactive and short film Five Bells.
