Jeff Gaunt DSLR Masterclass

In partnership with the ACS (Tas), WAT are delighted to host Jeff Gaunt for a one-day Masterclass - focussing on;

  • getting the most out of your DSLR (ie Canon 5D Mk.11)
  • Colour profiling, grading, low & high end compositing
  • Shooting for Special F/X
  • Getting time lapse absolutely right
  • working globally from your laptop.

Jeff Gaunt is a post production master. His mum gave birth to Flame and Jeff grew onto the end of it. He's also a Canon 5D Mk11 nut, and most days off, he's somewhere in this wide brown land of ours shooting extraordinary time lapse images. He's responsible for many of the sexy 'looks' that we see every day in high end TV commercials, but knows how to deliver those looks for very little $'s, so that should be of interest to everyone.

Jeff is the VFX Supervisor at Cutting Edge in Brisbane and works on some of the biggest and most spectacular TVC's produced in this country every year. He also works internationally.

"I have worked with Jeff many times and he is indeed the guru. Plus, he's a bloody decent man. Fun to work with and nothing ever a problem. No crowd too big, even if you're starting with one sad and lonely person standing against a 2x1metre sliver of green screen. As a 5D tragic myself, I can't wait to see him again...  I'll be in the front row."   Dick Marks
