This two-hour session run by Mel Cooper will explain how to create basic (and not so basic) low budget makeup effects for your next horror film and cover questions of cost, planning and on-set logistics. Numbers are limited, as participants will have the chance to obverse up close and ask questions throughout the class.

National Youth Week are teaming up with The Hobart City Council, Wide Angle Tasmania, Village Cinemas Hobart and YouthBeyondBlue to run a series of workshops for young people interrested in filmmaking.  Lucien Simon will lead the Kingston workshop, which will focus on developing strong visual storytelling and the development of technical and creative skills – using our professional camera, sound and lighting gear.
