AdLab 2013 - on the job industry training with WAT & Clemenger Tasmania

Can you see yourself creating a media campaign for the small and big screen?  If you’re keen to learn, like to keep it practical and are hungry to work in the commercial world, then AdLab 2013 is for you!

Wide Angle Tasmania and Clemenger Tasmania are offering 6 people the chance to hone their skills to produce a media campaign that will screen online, on TV and at cinemas.

Over 6 weeks a team of emerging screen practitioners will pitch and produce a media campaign for Hobart, Clarence and Glenorchy Councils aimed at preventing auto-theft.

The team will be mentored and supported by Clemenger Tasmania and WAT staff.  This is an ideal opportunity if you have some practical skills in the screen sector, want to learn how to connect with audiences and can dedicate some time to produce a series of high quality screen projects from late August to mid October with regular Hobart-based meetings.

This unique training opportunity, working within industry, will be provided at no cost to the participants.
We're looking for talented people to take the roles of:

  • Copywriter
  • Director
  • Producer
  • Cinematographer/Sound recordist
  • Editor/web builder

This is the commercial world – so we’re working at a fast and furious pace.  To express your interest in any of the positions, please call Abi Binning at Wide Angle Tasmania this week – 6223 8344.  We will also want a one page CV and a cover letter that includes links to examples of your work online, but please call us first!
