Wide Angle Tasmania has a 3 tiered rate system:

Commercial (Comm): Hires by businesses that are commercial entities such as companies and associations. These businesses are operated for profit for the benefit of shareholders or the owners of these businesses.

Non – Commercial (Non Comm): Hires by organisations, associations and individuals that are operating not for profit where the proceeds of the operation are returned to the organisation or production for the provision of goods or services that the business produces.

Emerging Practitioner (Emerging): Hires by individuals who are working in a not for profit situation with no or very little budget.

Length of Hire:

Day: Pick up after 10am, return before 4:00pm the same day (only available Mon - Fri)

Overnight: Pick up between 10am and 4:00pm, return at 10am the following morning (only available Mon - Thurs)

Weekend: Pick up between 10am and 4:00pm Friday, return at 10am Monday morning.

Week: Pick up between 10am and 4:00pm Mon - Fri, return at 10am one week later.

Late return of equipment will incur appropriate additional charges eg. hirers of equipment due back at 10am, but returned after 10:15am will be additionally charged the day rate for that equipment, unless otherwise negotiated with Wide Angle staff prior to the late return of equipment.

Deposit: A $100 deposit is now required for all hires irrespective of the amount of equipment taken out and the length of hire. Deposits are fully refundable on return of undamaged equipment.

Cancellation of booked equipment: A cancellation fee of 50% of the hire charge will be incurred by the hirer if less than 24 hours notice is given for a cancelled booking.

Identification: Drivers License is required for all hires.

Insurance: Insurance is included in the price of hiring equipment from Wide Angle Tasmania and the maximum amount payable by the hirer for theft of, or damage to Wide Angle equipment is $1000.

Payment: Clients will be invoiced prior to, or at time of collection of gear and both deposit and payment is required before the equipment leaves our premises.

Decisions by Wide Angle Staff on Rates charged are final.All prices quoted are GST inclusive

These rates are to be applied entirely at the discretion of the Wide Angle Tasmania Inc. General Manager or an authorized representative of Wide Angle Tasmania Inc.
